Ripley’s Gatlinburg is putting on a special for those living in select counties in East Tennessee starting yesterday and is good until this Thursday, February 25.

Ripley’s is treating anyone that lives or works in the counties of Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, and Union to $5 admission per person to any of the eight Ripley’s attractions in Gatlinburg. This includes Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Odditorium, Haunted Adventure, Moving Theater 5D, Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf, Davy Crockett’s Mini-Golf, Mirror Maze, and Guinness World Records. Also included is a non-Ripley’s attraction–the Gatlinburg Sky Lift–that takes you up Crockett Mountain with stunning views of downtown and Mt. LeConte.

Any of these deals are absolutely fantastic, but the best deal is without a doubt the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Tickets at the door are $30 for an adult, but you can save by buying tickets online or rooting through coupon books in town. So you are saving as much as 80% off the regular price.

This is not only a great deal for the family living in these counties, it also benefits the Sevier County Food Ministries. For every $5 ticket bought, $1 will go here to buy four cans of food. To receive this excellent offer, the person must show their photo ID plus a current pay stub from their employer.

I would advise anyone to take advantage of this offer. Despite the fact that Gatlinburg can be overrun at times by tourists–like myself–keep in mind that it’s the end of February, and Gatlinburg is certainly not as busy. If you haven’t already done any of the Ripley’s attractions, this would be a great time to take the kids and have fun!
